Supporting Students with Special Educational Needs

As all of our tutors are qualified teachers, they have experience of working both in the classroom and 1-1 with children who have behavioural and emotional needs as well as neurodiverse students with Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Autism, Dysgraphia, ADHD, ADD, low working memory and Global Delay. Some of our tutors are also currently working in Special Schools. 

Because it is important that the tutor is the right match for the child, we recommend tutors who we feel would be able to support the student effectively based on their experience, approach to teaching and personality.

We support a large amount of students who find mainstream schools too overwhelming and so they are either on a part-time timetable in school or are Home Educated. With our sessions being tailored to meet every child's needs, our tutors build a rapport with the child so that they feel comfortable during the sessions which in turn builds their confidence and helps them to access learning and reach their potential. The sessions can go at the child's pace, whether that be online or face-to-face in their own home, or a mixture of both, to support them with whatever stage they are in their learning. Tuition can be for general support, confidence/self-esteem building or exam preparation.

We work closely with Tutors and Exams who are a company who can support you in booking a private exam for your child if they are not sitting an exam through a school or college.
